Our Spring Sesshin will be April 28 starting at 6:00PM and concluding at Noon on April 30, 2017. It will be held in Falmouth at the lake house of Enjitsu Chris Charyk, 45 Beebe Acres Rd, Falmouth, MA 02540. You may stay at the house Friday and Saturday night or return for each day's sessions.
This will be FSZS first multi-day retreat or Sesshin. Sesshins reflect how in the first 1000 years or so of Buddhism, Sangha's spent days wondering through forests and villages during the dry season. When the rains came the Sangha moved into the homes of villagers spending more time on training and by doing so, being less likely to step on the animals awaking to the daily showers. Please join us for three days of Sangha practice! Leaders for the Sesshin will be Sangaku Dan Joslyn-Ino (Practice Leader), Enjitsu Chris Charyk-Inn keeper and Nancy-ni Sherwood, Tenso (cook). A minimum donation of $15 is requested.
PLEASE EMAIL me with any questions and to let me know if you are coming and staying one or two nights or with us during the day only.
