This Tuesday December 4, 2018, will arrive and leave for the most part. This concept of time is linear.

Yet, it is something more. It is the something more to which we awake.

The Falmouth Soto Zen Sangha is a refuge. A place where one can come to practice a Way of life unabated.

This will be so on 12/4/18. We will come together to contemplate our legacy of Buddhism, it ancestors in general and the role our ancestor, Rev. Dr. Soyu Matsuoka-roshi, to whom the founder of our Silent Thunder Order, Taiun Michael Elliston-roshi, dedicates his life and teachings.

As a student of Taiun-roshi, I in turn have dedicated fifteen years of my life to him and eight years to you of the Falmouth Soto Zen Sangha. All of this a small swirl of energy in the vast Universe. What do you see? What do you make of it? Thus it is so.

It will be my happiness to see you, as we celebrate the wonder of it all...one to another...
