Visiting Monk of the Thai Forest Tradition

This is an opportunity for us in the Falmouth Soto Zen Sangha to share the Dharma with a teacher from another Buddhist tradition.

Please join me if you can on April 25, from 7;00 pm until 9 pm, at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Falmouth, Ajahn Punnadhammo, abbot of Arrow River Forest Hermitage in Canada, will lead a guided meditation of about 45 minutes. This will be followed by a teaching on Buddhist philosophy and world-view.

Because monks are wholly dependent on the community for their livelihood, there is no charge. Donations will be gratefully received. Sponsors of this program include the UUFF Adult Education Committee, an individual, and the Woods Hole Insight Meditation Community.

Ajahn Punnadhammo teaches insight meditation in a tradition considered to be the oldest and most traditional of the many branches of Buddhism. Ajahn (his title) teaches regularly in Canada and the US and will be coming to Falmouth after leading a 10-day silent retreat at Insight Meditation Society (IMS) in Barre, MA.
