Rev, Carl Evans is Pastor of Christ Lutheran Church in Falmouth, to which he was called to serve in 2008. Rev. Evans and I met in November of 2016. Over the months I have attended a contemplation service he started at Christ Lutheran, and he has been attending our services. Carl is an insightful person who brings much to FSZS and I am pleased that he will give a talk to the Sangha on Tuesday night, April 24, 2018.

The Talk is on "Grace, Peace and Dharma" and will reflect on how he sees the overlap of traditions, but mostly to do some self-reflection on his journey of faith. I encourage you to make a special effort to attend and bring a friend or ten with you, as we join in meaningful conversation...

Gassho to the ten people who attended our Spring Zazenkai on Saturday, April 21, 2018. This Zazenkai, a day of Zen (from 6:30am-3:30pm) focused on Zazen, Dokusan, training in Zendo protocol, and kinhin. Our next Zazenkai will be in September (date to be determined).
